Bedford-Stuyvesant center helps residents keep their homes

CAMBA HomeBase, a Bedford-Stuyvesant-based center, is helping individuals remain residents by taking steps to ensure they have a house to live in.

The center provides varying forms of help ranging from obtaining loans to enrolling in substance abuse programs. The center also helps some of its recipients practice the saying ?do unto others as you have them do unto you? by becoming CAMBA HomeBase employees and help others in need.

The center has been open for less than a year and has already assisted almost 300 Brooklyn residents.
