Brooklyn youth gather to discuss teen issues at conference

Brooklyn adolescents gathered for the borough?s first teen conference to discuss topics ranging from terrorism to teen smoking.

Almost 250 teenagers attended the conference that took six months to prepare. The conference agenda was packed with lectures, workshops and a truth or dare wheel for teens to freely discuss a broad range of issues.

Directors say one of the conference?s key points addressed determining a universal age of adulthood.
