FBI visits Midwood mosque to ease Muslim community's fears among counter-terrorism efforts

FBI officials attended prayer services at the Makki Mosque in Midwood Friday to ease Muslim community's fears among counter-terrorism efforts. Community leaders said the meeting was part of the ongoing dialogue between law enforcement and the Muslim community. They say they want to assure the Pakistani community that their civil rights will be protected amid terrorism fears. Earlier this month, people were invited to share their concerns at a town hall meeting. Officials say there will be similar meetings in the future.
