Group in Sunset Park pushes for Asian Pacific vote

Every vote counts and the Asian Pacific American Voter?s Alliance wanted to make sure there are Asian Pacific votes to actually count.

On Saturday, the group in Sunset Park urged people of Asian Pacific descent to make their voices known by registering to vote. Right now only one in three of all Asian Pacific residents in Brooklyn and Manhattan are registered to vote. There are more than 200,000 individuals of this specific ethnicity, many of whom live in Sunset Park.

Voters from the organization say they are campaigning early because of reports of voter intimidation among this ethnic group in the last few elections.
