2 ACS workers indicted in connection with BK child's death

Two Administration for Children's Services (ACS) workers have been indicted on charges related to the death of 4-year-old Marchella Brett-Pierce.

Police say Marchella died last September while in custody of her mother, Carlotta Pierce. Pierce has been charged with her murder.

Damon Adams and his former supervisor, Chereece Bell, are charged with criminally negligent homicide, as well as other charges.

Investigators say there were clear signs of abuse in the home. They say the ACS workers neglected to follow up with the case and that resulted in Marchella's death.
