Police continue to investigate toddler-beating case

Police say they are still questioning the foster mother of a toddler that was severely beaten and that they have not ruled out filing charges against her.

Last week, 17-month-old Kymell Oram was rushed to the hospital after investigators say he was beaten so badly that he suffered three broken ribs and a ruptured spleen.

The foster mother's 19-year-old boyfriend, Kysheen Oliver, was arrested over the weekend in connection with the crime. Oliver faces charges including assault and reckless endangerment.

The Administration for Children's Services says it does not have any other reports of abuse or neglect in Kymell?s case. The agency says it also removed two other kids from the home during the investigation.
