MTA to install information signs near bridges, tunnels

The MTA says it will be installing electronic travel-time signs at all nine major bridges and tunnels in and around New York City

The signs will show the average time it will take commuters to get to a bridge or tunnel. Other messages may include information on how long it would take to get to area airports and sports stadiums.

Residents can also go to the MTA bridges and tunnels webpage to check out traffic conditions before getting in the car.
