Hundreds line streets in Flatbush for job fair

Hundreds of people lined the streets in Flatbush this afternoon for their chance to attend a job fair.

Rep. Yvette Clarke (D-District 11) helped organize the event that brought 40 different employers to Brooklyn.

One job seeker, Pamela Morales, says she has been out of work for nearly two years. She says she worked at several temporary jobs and stayed with family to get by.

Other residents came prepared with stacks of resumes and cover letters. They say they plan on sending out more packages in the coming days.

This is the second year the congresswoman has sponsored the job fair.
