BK restaurants take part in 'Time Out to End Hunger'

Thirty Brooklyn restaurants are doing their part to end hunger in New York City.

The local eateries are donating 10 percent of their revenue to the Food Bank of New York City today, which helps provide 400,000 meals a day. Statistics show hunger among residents is up 60 percent since 2003.

In Gowanus, owner of French restaurant Su Parette says the event is not only a great way to help others, but also promotes his own business.
