A wake was held today for an NYPD officer who died in the line of duty over the weekend.

Police say officer Alain Schaberger responded to a domestic dispute call Sunday at 45 St. Marks Place. He was attempting to escort 42-year-old George Villanueva away in handcuffs when they say the suspect pushed Schaberger over a railing, where he fell 9 feet to his death.
