Man accused in BK stabbing spree indicted

The Brooklyn man accused of going on a stabbing spree and killing four people was indicted for one of his acts.

An indictment issued today accuses Maksim Gelman of attempting to kill Joseph Lozito with a large knife on a northbound 3 subway train between West 34th and West 42nd Street stations. The victim was stabbed in the head, neck and arm.

Gelman is charged with attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the first degree, and criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree.
