Residents: Drainage problem creating mosquito haven

Residents in the Coney Island houses say standing water in the basement is creating a haven for mosquitoes and making them sick.

Residents say a blocked drain at 2747 West 33rd St. is causing a pool of water to form in the basement. They first contacted News 12 in August of last year and say the problem has still not been resolved.

A spokesperson for public housing says the issue is being investigated.
