Brooklyn senior centers on chopping block

More than 30 senior centers in Brooklyn could be forced to shut their doors if funding is cut.

The Council of Senior Centers and Services released a list of locations that would close if the state cuts $25 million. The organization says the centers could be closed within a month.

Many say if centers are cut, they will have nowhere to turn for basic help. Lawmakers plan to travel to Albany to lobby against the cuts.
