Brighton Beach Neighborhood Association building floods

The president of the Brighton Beach Neighborhood Association is claiming the owners of the building she rents caused it to flood during this week?s rain in an attempt to get her to vacate.

Singer claims her landlords were trying to get her to leave the past few weeks in order to build up for medical offices. She says the landlords put a hole in the roof last week and left it open.

The owners of the building say they only bought the property a year ago and had no idea it was in bad condition.

They say they do plan to demolish the building and that the tenants, including the neighborhood association, will have to find somewhere else to go.
