Police search for gunman in B60 bus shooting

Police say they are searching for a man who shot and injured a teenager aboard a B60 bus in Bushwick last night.

According to police, the suspect fired three times, hitting the 18-year-old victim once in the torso. The injured teen was taken to Elmhurst Hospital where he is in stable condition.

Police say the victim told police that the suspect was looking at him so he stared back. Near Stanhope Street and Central Avenue, the suspect pressed the stop button and as he was exiting the bus, police say he shot the victim.

Video released by authorities shows the alleged gunman getting off the bus shortly after the incident. He was wearing a light blue Hollister sweatshirt at the time.
