BK resident to remove sign counting days until bin Laden was found

For more than nine years, Cheryl Stewart has been asking where Osama bin Laden is and with each passing day, the numbers were added to the sign she kept outside of her home.

Stewart says she posted the sign after the Sept. 11 attacks. She said "3,000 of my neighbors were killed. My country and city has changed irrevocably, and it took nine years and 232 days to find him."

Borough President Marty Markowitz says last night's actions advanced the world one step closer to freedom from terrorism. The borough president also said that bin Laden's death is a victory for justice.

Stewart says she plans to take the sign down now that bin Laden has been found and killed.
