Bodega worker fights back after stun-gun attack
A would-be robber is in custody after police say he electrocuted a Bed-Stuy bodega worker with a stun gun over the weekend.
Police say the suspect shot at the employee, Randy Almanzar, leaving him weak and dizzy. But Almanzar managed to fight back, grabbing a bat and following the suspect.
Authorities say they were able to arrest 41-year-old Vincent Johnson after Almanzar told them which direction Johnson had fled.
Johnson faces attempted robbery, assault and criminal possession charges. He's being held on $4,000 bail.
