Police probe 2 attempted BK bank robberies

Police are looking for man who is accused of trying to rob two Brooklyn banks on the same day.

The two incidents occurred last Friday, Dec. 3, when the man attempted to rob the HSBC Bank on Flatbush Avenue. Fifteen minutes later, police say he was at Emmigrant Savings Bank, two blocks over from HSBC.

According to police, the suspect passed a teller a note demanding money. When the teller refused, the man ran off.

Witnesses say the suspect is 5?5? and 200 pounds.

Police are asking anyone with information about his whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS .
