Neighbors shine spotlight on parking woes from film studio

Neighbors are calling attention to a Midwood film studio that they say is hogging all of the prime parking in the area.

Nearby shop owners say while JC Studios is a good neighbor, the company's vans and trailers take up parking spots that could be used for customers.

City Councilman Michael Nelson agrees, saying he wrote a letter to the city's Office of Film, Theatre and Broadcasting to protest JC Studios' parking permits.

The film studio, which once was the filming spot for ?As the World Turns,? says it is aware of the issue and is working on a solution.
