BK unicyclist claims he got bogus tickets

A Brooklyn unicyclist is suing the NYPD for $3 million over tickets he claims are bogus.

Kyle Petersen is a fixture at the Cyclones games. Petersen says he has been stopped twice for riding his unicycle on the sidewalk, which he says isn't illegal. He says the first ticket was thrown out a few years ago. He claims the second ticket was issued in Crown Heights earlier this month. And though unicycling is legal, he says the officers issued a disorderly conduct ticket instead.

Petersen is set to be in court for the latest ticket on Jan. 19. He says after that, he will move forward with his suit.

The NYPD is refusing to comment on the suit.
