Police: Armed robber hits Brooklyn gas station

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Gulf gas station at Fulton Street and Pennsylvania Avenue.

Police say the robber barged into the gas station at 5:30 a.m. and demanded money from the register at gunpoint. Cops say the robber then forced his way into the register after an altercation with the clerk and stole about $600.

The owner of the gas station says he believes all of the money that was stolen will be covered by his insurance.
