Manhattan Beach street called unsafe

Manhattan Beach residents are demanding action following a deadly bus accident that killed a young boy.

Residents say the lack of safety measures on Oriental Boulevard must be dealt with to prevent another tragedy similar to one earlier this year, when a 4-year-old boy was hit by an MTA bus when he ran in the street.

The Bloomberg administration must post more signage and eliminate corner parking spots to help address the dangerous conditions, residents say.
