Voters set to weigh in on term limits
Voters hitting the polls tomorrow on Election Day will have an added question on term limits to weigh in on.
Residents are being reminded to flip over their ballots and vote on whether New York City officeholders can run for a third consecutive term. The question comes two years after Mayor Michael Bloomberg changed the law so that he could run for a third time.
Voters can either choose to restore the two-term limit or leave it at three. Also added to the ballots are proposals dealing with campaign spending, ballot access and conflict-of-interest rules.
