DOT: It's pothole filling season in the city

Along with the winter weather and poor driving conditions, drivers are also faced with pothole season.

The Department of Transportation is working it's hardest to fix all of the pothole-ridden streets. So far, crews have filled more than 15,000 potholes since July. DOT officials say 40 crews have been out working on 575 miles of road.

Many drivers say they are happy the DOT is working to fix the roads. However, they say they will be extra cautious until all of the potholes are filled.

Drivers are urged to call 311 if they see a pothole that needs to be repaired.
