Man killed by train in Park Slope

A man was killed Thursday morning after jumping in front of a "G" train at the Park Slope station.

Emergency workers say it appears the man leaped onto the tracks at around 7:30 a.m. with the intention to commit suicide. He was pronounced dead on the scene. The conductor of the "G" train was taken to the hospital suffering from possible post-traumatic stress disorder.

Following the incident, service on the "G" line was shut down, but it has since been restored with minor delays.
