A candlelight vigil was held Tuesday night to remember a teenager who was fatally shot outside his school in Brownsville.
Family and friends paid tribute to 17-year-old Malachi Cotton near the bus stop on Hegeman Avenue where he was killed Monday on the eve of his 18th birthday.
Witnesses say Cotton was hit several times after he finished playing basketball at the nearby Metropolitan High School.
So far, no arrests have been made in the shooting.
