State probes possible abuse at BK care facility

? The state is investigating a possible case of abuse in a Brooklyn care facility.

Investigators say the sister of mentally ill patient Corbett Creary claims the facility failed to immediately notify her when her brother was severely bruised.

Kimberly Creary claims her brother suffered a black eye at Community Living in Brooklyn and is demanding an investigation.

Since the incident, the facility on Saratoga Avenue has suspended the worker in charge of Creary.

The district attorney?s office and the New York State Office of Mental Health say they have now launched an investigation into the matter.
