Residents: Hovering helicopters are a headache

Residents in Brooklyn Heights say helicopters that hover overhead each day are giving them a headache.

Neighbors describe the helicopter traffic as already unbearable, and more helicopters are expected to fly above Brooklyn Heights after the Midtown Heliport in Manhattan was recently closed. According to residents, what used to be a dull hum caused by the helicopters is now quite loud.

Local representatives are expected to meet with the city's economic development corporation to determine how many extra helicopters will now be flying over Brooklyn Heights.
