Brooklyn residents gathered for the first Sunday Mass since a church volunteer was accused of sexually abusing a minor.
Police arrested 58-year-old Angelo Serrano Sept. 25 for allegedly sexually abusing a child. Church members say Serrano lived next door to St. Lucy-St. Patrick Catholic Church and was the interim director of religious education.
