BB gun shootings reported in Brighton Beach

Residents of Brighton Beach condominiums are worried about recent BB gun shootings at their building.

Many residents say they are apprehensive about spending Labor Day weekend in the building?s swimming pool after four BB gun pellets were fired into at least four building units. It is estimated that thousands of dollars of damage to patio doors and windows has been done.

A letter was sent from the building?s Board to the 60th precinct and the mayor asking for help. A neighboring building is said to be blamed.

Extra officers are patrolling the area and the 60th precinct is investigating the attacks.
