Gov. Paterson responds to slain cop's mom

Gov. David Paterson on Monday said he met with the mother of slain Detective Omar Edwards.

Natalia Edwards had asked the governor in a letter for a deeper investigation into the May 28 friendly fire shooting of her son. A grand jury voted not to indict the plainclothes officer who fatally shot Edwards.
