Teen accused in beating of Pratt student

A Brooklyn teenager was arrested and charged Wednesday in connection with the beating of a Pratt Institute student.

Police say 16-year-old Eugene Adams is now facing assault, robbery and criminal possession of stolen property charges in connection with the attack on Eddie Sanchez.

Sanchez was walking home after dinner Monday when a group of several young men attacked him, beating him into a coma and stealing his wallet, police say.

Investigators say they are searching for at least two other suspects in the beating of Sanchez, who remains in a medically induced coma. Anyone with information about the attack is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
