A 54-year-old Chinese immigrant is in critical condition after she was stabbed in th e head with a meat cleaver Monday morning by her ex-husband, police say.
The woman lived with her ex-husband, You-Shening Huang, at 1345 67th St. where the stabbing took place, neighbors say.
The woman was rushed to Lutheran Hospital in critical condition. Huang was arrested at the scene soon after the incident.
Police say charges are pending against Huang.
