Man unconscious after jumping from pier
Authorities say a Brooklyn man is fighting for his life after going for a swim with friends in Coney Island.
The man jumped off a pier in Coney Island at about 6:30 a.m. Sunday but never again surfaced, authorities say.
The man was rushed to Coney Island Hospital after being rescued by emergency workers and is unconscious.
