A four-month investigation by News 12 Brooklyn is taking a revealing look at how the illegal blood sport of cockfighting is thriving in the borough.

Cockfighting is an ancient blood sport in which roosters are raised for the sole purpose of fighting to the death inside an enclosed ring. In the United States, cockfighting is illegal, but that doesn't stop the blood sport from thriving.
