Mourners say goodbye to Rev. Timothy Wright

Hundreds of people attended Monday?s funeral for the Rev. Timothy Wright in Bushwick.

Wright, the beloved pastor of Grace Tabernacle Christian Center, died April 24 of complications from injuries he suffered in a July 2008 car accident. The accident left the pastor critically injured and killed his wife and grandson.

While Mayor Michael Bloomberg met privately with Wright?s family Monday, mourners lined up outside the Pilgrim Church in Bushwick for his funeral.

?We got up around 4 a.m. and drove here from [Long Island] and we?ve been here ever since,? says Darnesha Miles. ?It?s an honor to be here.?
