A Brooklyn grandmother was rushed to the hospital Sunday after her living room ceiling crashed down on top of her.
Caroline Williams, 45, lives on the first floor of the Lewis Armstrong Houses in Bedford-Stuyvesant. She was sitting on her coach when debris suddenly fell on top of her. A neighbor and Williams? boyfriend were able to get her out and call for help. Williams is expected to be all right.
According to her daughter, the ceiling has been an issue for some time and they just reminded the New York City Housing Authority about it on Saturday.
Williams will stay with her daughter after she gets out of the hospital until she can find somewhere else to live.
