Hundreds pay respect to Rev. Timothy Wright
Hundreds of family members, friends and gospel lovers came out to pay their respects for the Reverend Timothy Wright Sunday.
Rev. Wright, pastor of the Grace Tabernacle Christian Center in Crown Heights, passed away last week from complications resulting from a car accident last summer. The accident left the pastor critically injured and killed his wife and grandson.
"My dad taught us how to be real men, how to respect others, how to make somebody respect you," says his son David Wright. "He taught us how to take care of our families."
On Monday, the community will say one final goodbye to the beloved gospel singer at his Home Going Life celebration at the Pilgrim Church.
