A 73-year-old man is in critical condition after he was struck by a cab on the corner of Ocean Parkway and Avenue R.Witnesses say that the cab driver was turning onto Ocean Parkway when he collided with the elderly cyclist. Many neighbors say they are not surprised about the incident because the intersection is extremely dangerous. ?The politicians have to intervene to put some more security in the area,? says witness Hanania Elbaz. The driver of the cab remained at the scene of the crime, where police say he passed a breathalyzer test. The driver is not facing charges at this time.
