A black man is calling for justice after he says he was attacked in Crown Heights. Andrew Charles claims he was walking down Carroll Street with his friend, Kevin Evans, on Monday evening when he was attacked. Charles says a group of Jewish men drove up in a black SUV and got out of the car. After an exchange of words, Charles says he was beaten with a wooden object and maced. Charles? friend says the group was malicious. ?It was so fast, they tried to get me and I moved and they were really trying to hurt him,? says Evans.Police are not calling the incident a hate crime, but are searching for the men who were involved. Charles was taken to Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center with bruises.
