BK shoppers hit the mall for last-minute holiday gifts
Shoppers were rushing out to Kings Plaza Mall to get last-minute gifts for their families, friends and loved ones. The Macy's location at the mall has been open since 7 a.m. Friday. The company said it tested the idea last year at a store in Queens and that it was very successful. The Kings Plaza store is one of eight locations in the area that has kept its doors open. Some shoppers told News 12 Brooklyn that they enjoyed the overnight shopping due to less crowds and the bargains they found. The mall also had a DJ playing to entertain shoppers and those waiting for others who were shopping.Macy's says it is hoping the extended hours will give a boost to its sales figures for the holidays.
