Snow turned to slush on Brooklyn roads Sunday, leaving a mess for some drivers.

Residents endured pockets of freezing rain Saturday night into Sunday morning. The mess covered main roads, but turned to water as temperatures rose. Sanitation trucks were busy all morning keeping roads clear.

Flooding was reported in some Brooklyn neighborhoods. The MTA said it deployed special equipment to prevent flooded train tracks and subsequent service delays.

The National Weather Service issued a coastal flood warning until 2 p.m. Sunday, and winds were expected to pick up.

Residents said the much-hyped nor'easter was better than they expected.

"I thought it was gonna be a lot worse ? It doesn't feel like a nor'easter," said Sheepshead Bay resident John Deola.
