Snowstorm lightly dusts NYC metro area

Snow blanketed parts of the New York metropolitan area Sunday, including Brooklyn, causing problems for some.
The region saw about an inch or two after the day was over. The snow turned into rain Sunday night.
While drivers didn't experience whiteout conditions, they did endure slow driving on major roadways.
The storm, which comes weeks before the official start of winter, will also affect Maine. Meanwhile, snow and ice plastered the Midwest Saturday, disrupting airport and highway traffic. At least three people were killed there.
