Cops hope picture will help collar Brooklyn robber
Police are asking for the public's help to catch a man who is following people home and robbing them at gunpoint in Brooklyn.
According to officials, the man has struck seven times in Borough Park and Sunset Park from April to September. Investigators say the robber uses a semiautomatic handgun to force his way into houses after following residents home.
The latest incident occurred on 56th Street. Police say the man forced the victim to withdraw money at a nearby bank.
Investigators have released surveillance video of the robber. Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
