City, BK parents warned of more toy recalls

Parents in Brooklyn and the rest of the city are being warned about more toys that could be dangerous for their children.The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced a recall of toys due to hazardous levels of lead. The recall applies to certain toys from RC2 Corporation.Among the items being recalled is the company's Knights of the Sword toys. RC2 is also recalling certain items from its Thomas and Friends train toys. It is the second recall this year of Thomas and Friends toys.The commission also announced the recall of about 350,000 Happy Giddy Gardening Tools and Children's Sunny Patch Chairs. The products were sold nationwide at Target from August 2006 through August 2007.Related information: Consumer Product Safety Commission
