Police say they received numerous calls about shots fired and a fire around 4 a.m. on 62nd Street in Borough Park. When firefighters and police arrived, they found the bodies of a 27-year-old man and a 27-year-old woman across the street.
According to police, the man set two fires in the apartment and the woman ran outside with her 5-year-old daughter. Police say the man then fatally shot the woman and then shot himself.
