Good Samaritan killed in Brooklyn four-car collision
A driver is facing DUI charges in a fatal four-car accident on the Prospect Expressway Wednesday.
According to police, the driver of a green Lincoln Town Car stopped in the middle of the southbound expressway lane near Ocean Parkway and Church Avenue around 1:20 a.m. A second driver in a white Lincoln Town Car stopped to assist.Police said the driver of a Toyota Camry struck the driver of the white car, who was out of his vehicle. The driver of the Toyota also struck both Town Cars and another vehicle that was passing by, police said.
The driver who stopped to help, 50-year-old Rafael Rafailov, was pronounced dead at the scene; two other drivers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
Alexey Bushuyev, 22, is charged with DUI in the fatal wreck.
