Two men suspected in the Brooklyn shooting of two police officers are back in the borough after waiving extradition in Pennsylvania Thursday.

Robert Ellis and Dexter Bostic were escorted into the 71st Precinct in front of a crowd of New York's finest. Following their extradition hearings, Ellis and Bostic, both 34, were handed over to New York authorities wearing handcuffs belonging to the officers they allegedly shot.A third suspect, Lee Woods, who was captured in New York shortly after the Monday shooting, is being held without bail.

The manhunt for Ellis by Pennsylvania State Police and U.S. marshals ended around 8:30 a.m. Thursday when a bloodhound picked up his trail in a wooded area of the Poconos.

Ellis and Bostic were spotted together Wednesday. Police said Bostic was captured after a chase, but Ellis managed to run away. NYPD Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly said an alert driver led to Ellis' capture.

"Pennsylvania State Police received a 911 call saying that two men matching the fugitives' description[s] were walking west along Interstate 80," Kelly said during a news conference.

Authorities revealed the fugitives first traveled to Port Jefferson, Long Island, then Connecticut before crossing into Westchester. The men eventually ended up in rural Pennsylvania. Police said they questioned the person who drove the men around the tri-state area.

One of the officers shot Monday during a traffic stop of a stolen SUV in Crown Heights, Russel Timoshenko, is paralyzed. He's suffering brain swelling and can't breathe on his own. The other officer, Herman Yan, sustained lesser injuries. He's out of the hospital.

The suspects are expected to be arraigned Friday afternoon on charges including attempted murder of an officer and assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon.
