Bronx teen allegedly beaten for shoes, sunglasses
Police are looking for three men who allegedly beat a teenager for his shoes and sunglasses in Eastchester Monday.
According to cops, the 14-year-old was waiting for the elevator in his apartment building when he was jumped in the middle of the afternoon. They say it happened near the Boston Secor Houses, but aren't releasing an exact address to protect the victim because he is a minor.
The crime was caught on surveillance video, allegedly showing the suspects punch, kick and throw the teen to the floor. One of them also took out his own camera to film the assault.
The boy was taken to Jacobi Medical Center for treatment and later released. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
