Bodegas, delis queasy over proposed soda ban
Bodega and deli owners in the borough are worried over Mayor Michael Bloomberg's proposed ban on sugary soft drinks, saying it will be unfair to their customers.
During his radio show, Bloomberg said banning sodas and other soft drinks larger than 16 ounces won't affect sales, but store owners disagree.
Some store owners say they're worried more about their customers than their businesses, as many of their customers save money by buying one large drink, rather than multiple smaller ones.
